Overview
Any GPS antenna equipped with a tampered cable, such as the one installed in our Vandal Cable Sensor, can sense an external antenna being removed or vandalized. That unique cable is designed as an attachment for an external GPS antenna to give an alarm or disable the main power input if that antennal is improperly removed or vandalized. To add this feature as part of an AVL or GPS security system by using our Vandal Cable Sensor, an additional cable (a tampered cable) is attached next to output connector that provides as a GROUND LOOP measuring at 2.5ohms from the antenna for the system integrator.

- Providing ground loop as holding contact of a GPS main power relay
- Built in with an alarm indicator
- Disabling command of micro-controller reset or part of power supervisory circuit
- Acting as part of a car alarm input status sensor
All of the above status can be achieved with a simple Ground Loop being OPEN if the external antenna cable is CUT or improperly removed.
